San Diego Thursday 11-27-80

Remember a couple days ago... That day with the crap that took you fifteen minutes to pass? Well it's floating out in the water today. After only an inch and 1/2 of rain our ocean is polluted. Unless you like TB or HEP C stay out of the water! It's too bad that our "fine city" can't filter all the shit that goes down the drain. Happy Turkey anyway.

Scripps Pier Sunday 11-23-08

Well, Scripps was a little fun today. Knee to chest high off this weak NW swell. Hoping to pick up by tomorrow. Water is now a cool 62* There was a local amateur contest in front of the parking lot on the south side of the pier. That is where the best waves were, so that was a drag on top of the week swell. Water was crystal clear though. Clearest I've ever seen it this time of the year there. North side was steep and closing out as usual, and south was steep to dieing shoulders of walled up sections. Deffinatley a day fot the LB's if you want "wave count" and are a picky about your waves as I am. 5/10

Scripps Pier Tuesday 11-11-08

Scripps! It was the bomb today. Steep peaks everywhere that had sections holding up for super long rides. Great for any kind of board! Water is getting colder 61* Waves were 2-4 WNW with a bunch of Head-High sets coming through. Beautiful day down there too, looking more like spring than mid-Autumn.

Saturday 11-8-08

PB Pier.

PB was beautiful. Wish I could say the waves were as well. It was alright. Few section here and there for the shorties, and some shoulders holding up for the LB's. Water was a warm 64*, so still pretty hot in the 3/2 full suit. WSW swell at 2-3. The pier was the only spot really holding up. Law street and Tourmaline were just closing out on the inside. * 5/10*
